A Comic Recommended 

Eddy Brimsom

I had the pleasure watching Eddy Brimson perform at the Comedy Carnival, hosted in the  Metra Night Club in London's Leicester Square.  The evening had hardly got of to a flying start due to the terrible service we had received in Kitchen Italia, more on that another time.  We arrived in the club, took our seats and after the boring bit from the MC for the evening, up steps Eddy Brimson. 

In front of me stood this bald-headed, football hooligan looking cockney geezer. How funny can he be I thought. Well he was the opening comic and everything was down hill after he exited the stage.  His jokes, however near the mark were delivered perfectly in his "Do what, you slag" cockney accent.  His material covered sex including references to BDSM, his partner Harriet and his choice not to have children and topical at the time the London 2012 Olympic Games. 

I honestly thought that the evening was going to be terrible be discovering Mr Brimson on that night was definitely a highlight and wish there were more youtube of his work, fingers crossed there will be in the future.

He really is worth checking out in a live show and it won't cost you much at all. I paid £20 and got two other comedians and a dinner for that when in reality would have paid £20 for Eddy to stay on longer.
